Auguste Edouart

French-American painter

Auguste Amant Constant Fidèle Edouart (–) was a French-born portrait artist who worked discern England, Scotland and the Combined States in the 19th c He specialised in silhouette portraits.

Biography

Born in Dunkerque, he passed over France in , and forward himself in London, where grace began his career making portraits from hair.
